KORTLANG STEPS INTO DEVINE NEW ROLE

One of Australia’s best project sales and marketing executives David Kortlang has joined leading residential developer Devine Limited as the company gears up for the release of its first independent apartment project in more than two years.
Mr Kortlang has been appointed Sales Manager at the soon-to-be-launched $58 million DoubleOne 3 apartment project at Teneriffe and will be responsible for all aspects of sales and positioning of the new project.
He has more than 40 years’ experience in the Queensland property industry including high-profile roles with QM Properties, Juniper Group and FKP.
After commencing his career as a trainee at Trewin & Co Hotel Brokers in 1970 he moved into property marketing when he established PRD Realty on the Sunshine Coast in 1977. After a number of years with PRD and as an independent marketing consultant he joined Juniper Group as a director in 1999.
With Juniper he oversaw sales for some of the State’s most iconic developments including Sirocco and Oceans at Mooloolaba the Sea Temple resorts in north Queensland and the Soul development at Surfers Paradise. After more than a decade with Juniper he joined FKP to work on the Gasworks and The Mill projects before joining Devine in early 2012.
Mr Kortlang said he was pleased to be working alongside one of the most respected management teams in the Queensland property development industry.

Devine entered into an agreement in early 2011 to develop the prime site at Teneriffe into a major residential apartment project with an end value of approximately $58 million.
The 1,875 sqm site at 113 Commercial Rd, Teneriffe, is located in the heart of one of Brisbane’s most popular lifestyle precincts. The project received Development Approval in late 2011 and will be launched to the market in mid-March, with a completion of the project forecast for early 2014
The project will comprise a mix of one and two bedroom apartments to meet the market’s desire for cleverly designed, affordable homes and will be designed to make best use of the site.
Devine Limited Managing Director David Keir said Mr Kortlang was an important addition to the Devine development team.
“David is the most experienced property marketer in Queensland and will add considerable value to the DoubleOne 3 as we embark on this important project,” he said.
