DEMAND for inner-city apartments show no signs of slowing down, with Devine’s new DoubleOne 3 apartment project in Teneriffe achieving more than $20 million in sales since its launch.
Located in the vibrant inner city suburb of Teneriffe, the $58 million development offers residents an affordable, cosmopolitan, riverfront lifestyle. DoubleOne 3 will cater to the suburb’s growing population, with prices for apartments starting from $370,000 including a secure car park.
Sales Manager David Kortlang said buyers had recognised the strong investment potential of Teneriffe, with recent REIQ figures revealing home prices in the New Farm Area had increased over 6.5 per cent in the 12 months to June 2012.
He said the area was also a magnet for some of Australia’s biggest companies and global brands.
“Significant commercial investment from companies like Woolworths and the Bank of Queensland have positioned the area as one of the major employment centres in Brisbane,” he said.
“Other major brands operating in Teneriffe, Newstead, New Farm and Fortitude Valley include Leighton, Aecom, Watpac, John Holland, Fujitsu, Ergon, Energex and Queensland Health.
“In addition, Teneriffe has an enviable lifestyle and proximity to the CBD. Residents of DoubleOne 3 will be surrounded by the best our city has to offer with bars, restaurants, cafes and high-end shops all within easy walking distance. With direct access to other parts of the city, including the CBD, via a well-serviced transport network, residents will be at the heart of Brisbane’s most exciting precinct.”
DoubleOne 3 will feature111 one and two bedroom apartments upon completion. Each apartment features a sleek and contemporary gourmet kitchen, perfect for entertaining, with quality finishes.
Apartments have been designed to bring the outdoors in, with spacious balconies forming an integrated extension of the living area. Floor to ceiling windows deliver plenty of light, with select apartments offering views of the CBD and the Brisbane River. Each apartment is wired for high speed internet and cable TV.
A feature of the building will be the open-air rooftop terrace, featuring outdoor kitchen and stunning views towards the Brisbane CBD and River. Residents can dine in the nearby restaurants, cafes and bars on Vernon Terrace; browse the boutique shops or enjoy a walk or bike ride along the riverfront.
Positioned just 2.5km from the Brisbane CBD, Teneriffe is a leafy riverfront suburb characterised by historic Woolstore buildings. Regular bus and ferry services provide easy access to the Brisbane CBD, with the Teneriffe City Cat Terminal and City Glider Bus terminus just 200 metres from the building. A CityCycle station is also located nearby.
Devine has a successful history of apartment projects in Brisbane having completed in excess of 3,000 apartments valued at more than $1 billion since 1996.
The company is currently undertaking the award winning $500 million Hamilton Harbour mixed-use development in a joint venture with Leighton Properties. Located in Brisbane’s prestigious suburb of Hamilton, the precinct will ultimately include 660 apartments in three residential buildings, 17,000sqm office space across two commercial buildings and 5,000sqm retail space.
